Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has been monitoring the progress of Girona forward Benja. The 25-year-old striker has scored 9 goals in the league this year already.

Wigan's manager Martinez has already proved that he is able to attract some special talent from Spain, as shown with his shrewd acquistion of Jordi Gomez to England amongst others; and now the manager is keen to unearth yet another gem from the Spanish leagues, this time from the Segunda Liga side Girona.<br />

Benja could be allowed to leave the club for as little as 500,000 Euros.&nbsp;
