Impressive winger Albert Riera is wanted by Real Madrid after some sterling displays for Espanyol this season. The player has a release fee of £15m, but Real could offer £10m to tempt the player to the capital.
Real made enquiries after Riera on Saturday night and learned that the midfielder's buyout clause is a relatively affordable £15 million.
"It is an honor that Real Madrid pays attention to my game. It is good for me and my teammates, who are making an incredible effort in this phase of the season," said Riera.
