Juventus have agreed a move for Spain international striker Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bilbao. The 27-year-old had been linked with a move to England, but instead opted for a move to Serie A.
Llorente had been a revelation in past season for Bilbao, and a host of top clubs were in for his signature. However, the Basque forward has decided that Juventus will be the best next stop for his career.<br />
"Juventus can confirm that Spanish international striker Fernando Llorente will join the club on 1 July 2013," read a statement on the club website.<br /><br />"The 27-year-old has agreed terms on a four-year deal and will move to Turin when his Athletic Bilbao contract expires at the end of the current season."
