The Gunners are ready to agree a deal worth around £22 million to bring the Belgium international to the Emirates; however that deal rests on the successful transfer of Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer moving to Goodison Park. Fer was on the cusp of an £8 million move yesterday, but the deal hit a snag at the last minute.

According to reports, both Arsenal and FC Twente are concerned that this issue came up at the last minute and as Everton prepare to cancel Fellaini's dream move to London.
