Swansea City's manager Michael Laudrup has been eager to kick start his summer transfer plans, and has identified Catania attacking midfielder Alejandro Gomez as a potential target.
The 5 foot 5 attacking midfielder, originally from Argentina, has been a revelation in Sicily since joining from San Lorenzo back in 2010. The player - who is comfortable playing in attacking midfield or on the flanks - has been monitored closely by the Swans this year.
Catania will command a 5 million Euro fee for the 25-year-old winger. This year, the Argentine has already scored an impressive 7 Serie A goals.
