Tottenham are ready to make a move for Sevilla defender Alberto Botia. The 24 year old has struggled for first team action this year at his current club.

Spurs are on the lookout for defensive cover and have identified the former Barcelona youth prospect. Andre Villas-Boas is eager to find new talent to improve his squad for next year, and Botia is one name mentioned.

Sevilla are ready to sell the player for around 2.4 million Euros.
