Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was spotted at the Emirates casting his eye over Wigan midfielder Callum McManaman. The exciting youngster has impressed since his promotion to the first team in the last three months.

Wigan's relegation to the Championship is sure to mean that some of the club's best players may look elsewhere for a transfer, and reports indicate that McManaman will be one of the first to leave.<br />

The youngster is very highly rated by manager Roberto Martinez, but Wigan may be forced to sell him as the player himself is eager to remain in the Premier League and the club may also need to sell to generate funds for next season.
