Benteke denies Aston Villa departure comments

Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke has denied comments attributed to him regarding a move away from Villa Park. The Belgian forward had reportedly warned Villa that he would quit the club.

Via his agent, Eris Kismet, Benteke denied all comments about a move away from Villa.<br />

"Christian and I are surprised and disgusted by a story in the Sun newspaper claiming Benteke can do what he wants," said Kismet.<br />

"He has been misquoted.<br />

"The true line is that Christian does not want to make a war with Aston Villa.
