Isco ready to join Manchester City

28 May 2013 - 05:14

Spanish midfielder Isco is ready to join Manuel Pellegrini at Man City. The Malaga player has been persistently linked with a move to England, and it appears that the Citizens have won the race for his coveted signature.

  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • Pellegrini stepping down at Malaga spelt the end for the Spain international, as the player decided that now was the time to move club.

"He's been my footballing father and I know that he likes me. Of course I'd like to continue with him," said Isco.

"I want to play, wherever it is, and that's the most important thing. I don't want to regret it after not getting many minutes.

"I'm not closing my door to anyone but my priority is to play and I don't want to be on the bench. We'll see what happens in the summer."
