Spanish midfielder Isco is ready to join Manuel Pellegrini at Man City. The Malaga player has been persistently linked with a move to England, and it appears that the Citizens have won the race for his coveted signature.
Pellegrini stepping down at Malaga spelt the end for the Spain international, as the player decided that now was the time to move club.
"He's been my footballing father and I know that he likes me. Of course I'd like to continue with him," said Isco.
"I want to play, wherever it is, and that's the most important thing. I don't want to regret it after not getting many minutes.
"I'm not closing my door to anyone but my priority is to play and I don't want to be on the bench. We'll see what happens in the summer."
