Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup will kickstart his summer of transfer spending with a move for Croatian youngster Marcelo Brozovic. Swansea have already contacted Brozovic's representatives, according to reports from Croatia.

The Dinamo Zagreb midfielder has been monitored by a host of Premier League teams.<br />

The 20-year-old Croatian under-21 international had recently signed a seven year contract with his club, but there is believed to be a 6 million Euro release clause within that deal.<br />

Brozovic is expected to eventually be a first team regular in the national side of his country.
