Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain confims Real exit

Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain has told reporters that he will quit Real Madrid. Higuain enjoyed a highly successful 7 year spell at the Bernebeu, and has been linked with moves to both Juventus and the Gunners.

  • Higuain is still widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world and has always expressed some interest to eventually move to England.<br />

    "I feel that my time here has come to an end and I want a change of scenery. I have experienced seven intense, tough and happy years here," said Higuain.<br />

    "It was a decision I have been thinking about for some time. It's tough, it wasn't easy to make, but I will go to another club to seek new challenges.<br />

    "My family have suffered a lot too. It's a decision the club and me took together, and I hope it's for the best."
