Damiao open to Tottenham switch

Internacional forward Leandro Damiao is open to a switch to Europe this summer, admitting that Tottenham are still a team that interests him. However, the Brazilian also noted that he would prefer to play Champions League football.

Spurs missed out on Champions League football on the final day of last season, with Arsenal pipping them to the post.<br />

"I know of Tottenham's interest in me but I am happy to wait until the president of my club lets me know something official," the forward said.&nbsp;<br />

"I would prefer to play in a team that is in the Champions League, but the most important thing is that they share the same ambition that I have."
