Tottenham won't sign Jackson Martinez

Porto international striker Jackson Martinez will not be sold this summer. The player's agent has ruled out talk of a move to Tottenham as the player is happy at this time playing in Portugal.

Spurs had been linked with a 20 million Euro swoop for the striker as the Lilywhites look to bolster their attack for the new season.<br />

"Jackson Martinez has always said he wants to stay at FC Porto and he does not have to leave," said the player's agent Luis Manso.<br />

"He is happy and his family too so I do not see the intention of the club to sell.<br />

"It seems strange that the English press push the issue, there really is just Porto.<br />

"We have not spoken to anyone and we are not interested in any negotiations. That's the truth."
