Eduardo Salvio ready for England move

10 June 2013 - 05:23

Argentinian winger Eduardo Salvio has been linked with a move from Benfica to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Tottenham both amongst the teams all closely monitoring his progress.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Salvio has been a revelation at Benfica since moving to Portugal, and a number of teams have been monitoring the player in action.

"At the moment, his future is undecided," said Salvio's agent. We need to speak with Benfica and to discuss the options.

"There is interest out there this summer from clubs in England and Italy and I believe they have had contact with Benfica.

"After a big season it is normal that significant clubs will be interested. Now the decision is in the hands of Benfica.

"Salvio is content at the club but he is open to the possibility of a move."
