With Jose Mourinho, signing his second contract with Chelsea, Stamford Bridge seems to have some really big plans to renovate the side. A recent hearsay in the transfer market reveals Chelsea's candid interest in the 20 year old Dutch, Marco van Ginkel. Ginkel plays for the Dutch club Vitesse.Â
Chelsea has had a cordial relationship with the Arnhem club so far, loaning several of its players to this Dutch club, so a factor of indebtedness and obligation may just favour Chelsea winning this bid, though Van Ginkel's agent also confirms AFC Ajax's interest in his client.
Marco, who has fared well so far in the European U21 Championships in Israel, still is left with 2 years on his contract with Arnhem, so things continue to look obscure. No doubt, Mourinho will leave no stone unturned if he has made up his mind!
