Chelsea Hint Interest in Marco van Ginkel

With Jose Mourinho, signing his second contract with Chelsea, Stamford Bridge seems to have some really big plans to renovate the side. A recent hearsay in the transfer market reveals Chelsea's candid interest in the 20 year old Dutch, Marco van Ginkel. Ginkel plays for the Dutch club Vitesse.

Chelsea has had a cordial relationship with the Arnhem club so far, loaning several of its players to this Dutch club, so a factor of indebtedness and obligation may just favour Chelsea winning this bid, though Van Ginkel's agent also confirms AFC Ajax's interest in his client.<br />

Marco, who has fared well so far in the European U21 Championships in Israel, still is left with 2 years on his contract with Arnhem, so things continue to look obscure. No doubt, Mourinho will leave no stone unturned if he has made up his mind!<br />
