Torres Seeks Future Talks with Mourinho

14 June 2013 - 05:43

The 29 year old Spaniard, who as of now is with Spain and preparing for the Confederations Cup, that commences this weekend in Brazil, reportedly seeks to have some decisive future talks, clearing the clouds of obscurity over his future at the club, with the newly joined Chelsea Manager, Jose Mourinho.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to sign new Arsenal deal

  • Jose has had an uncompromising outlook regarding the Spanish international so far and with a dismal performance in the recent games, Torres is more likely to be marginalised in Chelsea's future playing squad. Torres wills to clear his present status and future roles in Stamford Bridge. Reports say that Torres, who still has three years left on his contract with Chelsea, will wait for the Confederations Cup to come to an end before he meets up with Mourinho to make contemplatations pertaining to his future.

All this comes amidst the reports from Barcelona who have shockingly raised their hand for the Torres auction at about a 17 million pounds. Napoli also were eying on the striker for this season but of recent they rejected a cash plus Torres offer in return for Cavani.
