Hull City are confident that a deal can be completed this week for Scotitsh goalkeeper Allan McGregor. The shot stopper will arrive at Steve Bruce's side from Besiktas after a fee had been agreed between the two sides.
Hull City's manager Bruce has been eager to finalize a deal as soon as possible for a goalkeeper; initially Hull were believed to be interested in Joel Robles - who had been on loan at Wigan last year - but instead decided to move for McGregor.
McGregor’s agent Dave Baldwin said: “Negotiations with Allan are progressing well and there are no major obstacles to a deal being done.
“Allan is keen to play in the Premier League and very keen to play under Steve Bruce, so now we just have to push the talks forward.”
