Andy Carroll has passed a medical and looks set to become West Ham's major transfer coup this summer. The player will arrive at Upton Park in a deal worth up to 19m to his former club Liverpool.
A tweet from Hammers chairman David Gold read: "We managed to bring Andy's medical forward to this evening and I am delighted to informed you that he has passed with flying colours."
It brings to an end Carroll's miserable time at Liverpool, where he scored a poor 6 goals in 44 games.
