Markus Rosenberg to quit West Brom

23 June 2013 - 12:47

Swedish international forward Markus Rosenberg will quit West Bromwich Albion this summer as there appears to be a flurry of interest from the likes of German sides Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin, as well as Dutch team Feyenoord.

  • Chelsea to battle Leeds for Zion Suzuki?
  • Man Utd still favourites to sign Portuguese star
  • WBA signed Rosenberg on a free transfer from Werder Bremen last year.

West Brom technical director Richard Garlick has confirmed that Rosenberg is unlikely to stay at the Hawthorns for the year ahead.

"It has been a frustrating period for him in terms of how it panned out last season," said Garlick.

"There is interest from Spain and Germany in him. I am in touch with his agent every week and he knows the situation. We know what we want from the negotiations too."
