Cardiff City have reportedly matched the £8 million asking price of Blackpool to sell their star player, midfielder terrier Tom Ince. Liverpool were believed to be in pole position to sign the England under-21 international.
However, Cardiff City and Blackpool have come to an agreement for a transfer already, to the surprise of Liverpool who were hopeful that they would be signing the midfielder in time for the new season.<br />
Blackbirds manager Malky Mackay is scouring the European leagues to secure his first signing but has decided that searching for talent at home would be best for the newly promoted side. Subsequently, a deal was reached by Cardiff and now Ince must agree personal terms with the Bluebirds.
