Bafetimbi Gomis eyes Premier League move

Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis has recently announced  that he requires to make a big decision concerning his future at the club in the next couple of days.

  • The 27-year-old has been linked with moves to the Premier League Welsh teams Swansea City and Cardiff City in recent weeks



    Lyon are said to be interested in the ongoing talks with Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk over a potential switch for the French International.Lyon are hopeful to sell the strong and powerful forward in order to add up funds to build up the squad in the areas of weakness as they look to re-establish themselves as a major threat in French football once again to challenge the likes of PSG and Mega-rich As Monaco for the title.



    Gomis has admitted that he needs to make a decision soon, but will not be forced into a move against his wishes.



    “I will choose where I play next season,” he said.



    “It sounds like Lyon have already made their choice, but I haven’t.”



    Reports suggest Gomis is unhappy with Lyon president Jean Michel after he held talks with Shakhtar for his move, he told Aujourd’hui: “We have received an offer from Shakhtar Donetsk. It is a fantastic offer and we could agree with them.”
