Everton join race for Bakary Sako

29 June 2013 - 06:30

Wolves' winger Bakary Sako, who was last year voted as the club player of the season, is being monitored by a number of big cubs in Europe. Both Lyon and Marseille were expected to make a move for the player, but it appears Everton are now also in the race to sign the 25-year-old.

  • The Paris-born winger joined Wolves from Saint-Etienne for around 2 million Euros in 2012, and the player impressed during his time with the club. Infact, injury in March 2013 also coincided with a dip in form for Wolves that is how much he was missed.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has been watching video footage of the player in action last season and is now ready to make a move for the France under-21 international.
