Steve Clarke to sign new WBA contract

West Brom manager Steve Clarke has been offered a fresh deal at the Hawthorns and is expected to sign it next week. The 49-year-old helped West Brom to an impressive 8th place finish last year.

Club executives are hugely impressed with the way that the Scottish manager has taken over in his first year in charge and are desperate to tie the manager down to a new deal in light of interest from some of England's other clubs.<br />

Clarke is very highly rated and has been mentioned as a possible manager of Chelsea in the years to come.<br />

Clarke will sign a new three year contract with WBA.
