Inter Sign Ishak Belfodil

Inter Sign Ishak Belfodil

05 July 2013 - 19:38

Inter have completed the signing of French striker Ishak Belfodil on a five-year deal from Parma. The club has taken to bolstering its attacking front after a dismal last season.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • This transfer follows the transfer move of Antonio Cassano who left the club for Parma, just days ago. Cassano had spent only one season at San Siro.

Inter have been lately troubled by injuries as star striker Diego Milito suffered from a knee injury in February that kept him out of action since then. Walter Mazzarri, the new Inter boss, who looks to rebuild his team before the next season, will welcome the young promising forward to San Siro.

The 21-year-old French man scored eight goals in the 34 appearances he made for the Gialloblu last season.

Belfodil began his career with Lyon from where he made a move to Parma last year. He is delighted to be a part of a “great team”.

"Inter are a great team, I'm really happy and I hope to do very well here. Hello all the Nerazzurri fans!"
