Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace have offer 29-year-old striker Carlton Cole a contract at Selhurst Park. Cole was released by West Ham at the end of last season and hopes to stay in the top flight.
Hull City are also rumoured to have shown some interest in the free agent, but the striker would prefer to remain in London for the time being.
It is understood that Palace have made an initial 2 year contract offer to bring the striker to the club.
Since his release by the Hammers in May, Cole has had no shortage of options from home and abroad with Turkish side Bursaspor showing an interest and Greek giants Olympiakos also believed to have made him an offer.
