Antolin Alcaraz is reportedly all set to seal a move to the Everton FC after having agreed a two year deal with the club. Alcaraz is a free agent after leaving Wigan Athletic at the end of the season.
New Everton manager Roberto Martinez has already seized the transfer of Arouna Kone this week from his former club Wigan Athletic. Alcaraz has followed in his teammate’s footsteps as he now accepts Martinez’s offer to rebuild the Everton squad.
The 30-year-old defender is expected to complete the switch to the Goodison Park for two years once he is done with his medical, which is due on Tuesday.
He will link up with his former manager and Arouna Kone who penned a three year deal with the club yesterday. The two new signings from Wigan could be joined by another former teammate in the form of goalkeeper Joel Robles. Robles spent his last season in Wigan on loan from Atletico Madrid.
