Stoke City manager Mark Hughes wants to make Scott Sinclair his major transfer deal of the summer. The Man City winger is currently out of favour at the Etihad and is ready to move on to a new club.
The winger, who has only played in 11 games since completing a mega money move to City from Swansea, told his agent that he would like to move elsewhere as he feels a lack of first team football is hindering his international chances.
Sinclair is hopeful that an impressive season ahead will give him a real chance of making any England international squad for next year should the team qualify for the World Cup in Brazil.
Stoke City are currently locked in talks internally to decide whether or not to make an approach for the player, with a bid expected in the next week.
