Thomas Ince turns down Cardiff City transfer

12 July 2013 - 15:35

Blackpool midfielder Thomas Ince has turned down a move to Cardiff City. The talented youngster has been pursued by several Premier League clubs but the Bluebirds were reportedly in pole position to secure his signing.

  • Chelsea to battle Leeds for Zion Suzuki?
  • Man Utd still favourites to sign Portuguese star
  • However, after long discussions with his father - the Blackpool manager Paul Ince - as well as his family, Ince has decided to stay put.

Cardiff confirmed that there was an offer for Ince that has been rejected as the club took to Twitter and said: "Thomas Ince will not be joining Cardiff City, having opted to stay close to his newborn child in Blackpool."
