Chelsea target Bruma terminates his contract

14 July 2013 - 02:22

Sporting Lisbon's Portuguese starlet Bruma has attracted interests from top clubs in Europe like Chelsea and Galatasaray, and has resorted to strong tactics after his regular begging to the Premeira Liga club to let go of him. The 18 year old has decided to terminate his professional contract with the Portuguese outfit inorder to make a switch to one of his desired clubs.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Bruma was quoted in a Portuguese newspaper saying : "I deeply regret the outcome of this matter. I did everything to stay at Sporting and I made it clear to my representatives to try to reach an agreement. But after all this time, Sporting did little for me to renew. I want to avoid any sort of controversy with Sporting and especially with the fans. I am a professional and I will continue my career."

Bruma's lawyer Bebiano Gomez told reporters on TV1: "Now Bruma heads totally out of Sporting. If the case goes through the courts, no problem."

Chelsea's new manager has now been given the chance to sign the exciting Portuguese sensation on a free,if he is released from Sporting Lisbon.
