Liverpool keen on Brazilian starlet Leandro Moura

14 July 2013 - 06:17

Senior scouts of Liverpool have been monitoring Brazilian youngster Leandro Moura in action for Brazilian side Palmerias, where he is currently on loan from Gremio. The Brazilian full international has been suggested as a possible long term replacement for Luis Suarez.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Moura is amongst the best young players in South America having burst onto the scene at Gremio - where he was labelled "the new Ronaldinho" - and then making a move to Palmerias where he scored an impressive 9 goals in 17 games so far.
Liverpool are concerned that the long term future of Luis Suarez is not yet decided, so have already started looking for alternatives should the Uruguayan leave Anfield.
Moura recently made his full international debut against Bolivia, where he scored and was then named man of the match for the Selecao.
