Sunderland complete Giaccherini deal

Emanuele Giaccherini has finally agreed a deal to join Sunderland for an estimated 10 million Euros. The player arrives from Serie A champions Juventus.

The 28-year-old has signed a four year contract at the Stadium of Light to become the Black Cats' major signing for the summer. Giaccherini has also gone on to appear 14 times for his country, being a part of Italy's Euro 2012 squad as well as playing a major part during this year's Confederation's Cup.
