As per reports from France, Lille defender Lucas Digne is set to have a medical ahead of his switch to French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Premier League side Liverpool have lost in the race for the signing of Lucas Digne, with the higly rated defender in Paris set to finalise the deal and edge towards the end of the transfer saga.<br />

The highly rated French full-back has been monitored by a number of top European clubs over the past few months or so and the Reds were ready to put up an offer but the defender was willing to stay in his homeland.<br />

The French U-21 International is now closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain for around &pound;12m.
