Wakaso closes in on Swansea move

Ghana international Wakaso Mubarak will join Swansea City this weekend, according to reports from Spain. The Espanyol midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League for over three weeks.

Having joined Espanyol from Villarreal at the end of the 2011 season, Wakaso forced his way into the first team line up and since then became one of La Liga's hotest young properties. The 22-year-old has also been scouted by Valencia and Roma.<br />

Swansea will pay around 2.9 million Euros for the player.
