Ramos: not raiding Sevilla

Ramos: not raiding Sevilla

01 November 2007 - 23:05

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has insisted he has no plans to raid his former club Sevilla for players after reports of interest in their two star players, Daniel Alves and Fredi Kanoute.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • The Spaniard insists he has no plans to further antagonise his former employers by attempting to sign two of their key men, and claims the speculation has no foundation whatsoever.

Ramos told AS: "I am surprised because I did not know this side of the English press. They have invented everything. I wanted my first words to be in the press conference on Tuesday and I did not talk to anyone before.

"Things I cannot control I do not worry about because otherwise I would become very angry.

"I do not want to sign anyone from Sevilla nor any other team. I want to know what we already have."
