Hull City to swoop for Yannick Sagbo

21 July 2013 - 13:40

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has been recommended Evian's 25-year-old forward Yannick Sagbo. The striker has scored over 20 goals for Evian since moving to the French side from Monaco back in 2010.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Hull's scouting network have identified the forward, whose full name is Yannick Anister Sagbo-Latte, as a potential addition to the new squad. Bruce's team were hopeful that a deal could be agreed with Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, but the Dane's lofty salary demands cooled that deal.<br />

Sagbo would cost just a paltry £1.7 million and the Ivory coast international is eager to move to England to boost his hopes of appearing in the World Cup next summer with his home country.
