Tottenham Looking For New Players

22 July 2013 - 18:06

Tottenham’s pursuit of new players is far from over, as manager Andre Villas-Boas claims that the club is still on a lookout for new signings. The Spurs recently signed Nacer Chadli from FC Twente.

  • AVB is keen to bolster his ranks with new acquisitions this summer. He failed to accomplish the signings of David Villa and Christian Benteke but is still hopeful of making some news before the transfer window closes.

It is understood that Tottenham could be chasing Roberto Soldado from Valencia but their prospective business clients are in a hurry to clear doubts over Soldado’s future so that they could focus on their pre-season preparations.

"We will continue to do our market and we have not stopped yet, for sure," Villas-Boas told reporters.

AVB is also excited to have Chadli in his squad now. He praised the 23-year-old for his versatility in playing positions.

"He's a player who is extremely versatile and can play in several positions up front. He played with tremendous success on the left for Twente as a winger and as an attacker for Belgium. We look forward to having him on board with us."
