Premier League outfit Stoke City are reportedly close to confirming a loan deal for Benfica striker Nelson Oliveira, according to the Telegraph. The Potters are set to depart for their pre-season tour of the United States this week.<br /><br />It is thought that a season long loan deal for the 21-year-old Portuguese International will be struck within this week, as Hughes tries to make him the third signing of the summer for the Potters.
Cardiff City had also shown interest in acquiring Oliveira’s signature and were pulled of the race by the Potters at the last grasp.<br />
Stoke will pay a loan fee for the striker who they will be hoping to have before the start of the pre-season tour.<br />.
