Sunderland striker Stephane Sessegnon has admitted that he is aware of the speculation surounding his future but is happy with his life at the club.
The 29 year old has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Stadium of Light but with no offers having been made to the Black Cats this summer, it seems that Sessegnon is set to remain a Sunderland player next season.
"The speculation is okay, I have no problem with that. But I'm happy at Sunderland." Sessegnon told the Sunderland Echo.
"We have worked well in pre-season and hopefully we can continue like this. I'm enjoying it at Sunderland and my mind is for Sunderland now."
The former Paris Saint Germain player remains upbeat about the club's performance next season folowing manager Paolo di Canio's spending spree this summer.
"It's a very important time, you need to have a pre-season. You need to do the hard work to start the season well.
"I think that affected me during the first few months of last season, but this year is different because we have had a good pre-season with a lot of good players coming."
