Tottenham target Adem Ljajic to quit Fiorentina

30 July 2013 - 07:05

Fiorentina winger Adem Ljajic has told the club that he wants to quit for a move elsewhere this summer. The Viola have already offered an improved contract, but Ljajic is desperate to join another team.

  • Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are all interested in Ljajic but so far Fiorentina have yet to receive an offer.

Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella confirmed that the player would like to move elsewhere.

"He's experiencing an internal conflict," Montella told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "He has not looked very serene in recent days. What can I say, there are economic problems which are not easy.

"I'm willing to wait, just as long as he's OK, and today he doesn’t look to be fine. I’m still convinced that staying with Fiorentina would be the best solution for him."
