PSV lining up a return for QPR midfielder Park

30 July 2013 - 09:58

Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven coach Philip Cocu has revealed that he is close to agreeing a deal with Queens Park Rangers involving the transfer of Ji Sung Park.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • The 32 year old South Korean midfielder had spent 2 years at PSV before securing his move to English champions Manchester United back in 2005.

Park was allowed to leave Old Trafford last summer after having spent seven seasons at the club and signed a two year contract with QPR.

"Park is a player with a lot of experience after all those years at Manchester United," Algemeen Dagblad quoted Cocu as saying.

"Added to that, he has already played here and knows the club.

"The guys who now play for us up front are very talented, but they can also gain from someone who has already played at the top level for a long time."
