Bayern Munich playmaker Luiz Gustavo is open to leaving the Allianz Arena this summer, if conditions are conducive.Gustavo has been strongly linked with a move to Wolfsburg, with the club’s sporting director, Klaus Alloffs, pushing for a deal.
"When the speculations about Bayern having too many midfielders came up, we said that Luiz Gustavo would be a player who'd fit us very well in terms of his quality," Alloffs said.<br />
Following the arrival of Thiago Alcantara at the German club, Gustavo’s first-team chances look bleak. He has been monitored by Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea too but reportedly Wolfsburg would be a preferred destination for the 26-year-old.<br />
"I am very happy at Bayern. I have two years left on my contract, but you don't know what will happen until August 31," Gustavo told Sport-Informations-Dienst.<br />
The Selecao star has sparked interest from Wolfsburg’s coach Dieter Hecking who revealed his desire to sign the player.<br />
"If Luiz Gustavo isn't happy with his role at Bayern and if a change of club ahead of the 2014 World Cup makes sense, then we could make a deal," Hecking told reporters.
