Tottenham have completed the signing of top summer target, Valencia striker Roberto Soldado, for £26million. The club has signed him on a four-year-deal.
An agreement was reached between the clubs last week and Soldado has now secured his transfer to Spurs after passing a medical.
The north London outfit confirmed the signing on their official Twitter feed where they revealed that the Spanish international will be available for the first time in their final pre-season friendly against Espanyol at White Hart Lane.
By matching the release clause of Soldado, Tottenham have smashed the previous transfer record of the club by surpassing the £17m paid for Brazil playmaker Paulinho, earlier this summer.
