Championship club Queens Park Rangers are set to sign Colombian forward Duvan Zapata after Estudiantes president confirmed that they have accepted the offer.
The 22 year old foward has been in the wishlist of plenty of clubs across Europe but it seems that Harry Redknapp has beaten the rest to his signature.
Zapata was earlier close to sealing a move to West Ham but the deal fell through as the Hammers failed to acquire the player's work permit in England.
Estudiantes president Enrique Lombardi has confirmed that there are still issues to be resolved which include the player's medical and work permit in the country.
"We have approved the offer we have received from Queens Park Rangers for Duvan Zapata," Lombardi is quoted by El Dia.
"The player has permission to travel to England. There are still some details to resolve, such as the work permit and the medical.
"We haven't signed anything. From England, we haven't been informed yet if he will be given a work permit."
