Stewart Downing will complete a move to West Ham this week, after Liverpool and the Hammers agreed a fee for the left winger. The England international will sign a four year contract at Upton Park.
Downing had struggled for first team opportunities at Anfield under current manager Brendan Rodgers and will be keen to kick start his career at West Ham.
The 29-year-old scored five times in 45 games for Liverpool last year, but despite good end of season form has been told that he is free to leave the Reds.
