West Ham chasing Demba Ba

West Ham chasing Demba Ba

14 August 2013 - 09:08

West Ham have emerged as candidates for Senegalese forward Demba Ba. The Chelsea striker previously enjoyed a short spell at Upton Park and could now return to East London after Jose Mourinho informed the player that he would be 3rd choice forward this year.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • West Ham have been very active in the transfer window this summer but have yet to secure a much needed forward signing to partner Andy Carroll up front. Ba enjoyed a short spell at West Ham back in 2011, where he scored seven league goals. Since then he has moved on to both Newcastle and now Chelsea.<br />

With forward Modibo Maiga set to quit the Hammers, Ba would be a perfect replacement and is available for a fee of around £10m.
