Willian poised to sign for Tottenham Hotspur

Anzhi Makhachkala's Brazilian playmaker Willian is set to sign for Tottenham Hotspur according to some reports. Liverpool have apparently failed to agree terms with the 25 year old.

Willian would be the 5th signing by manager Andre Villas Boas this season, after fellow Brazilian Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and record signing Roberto Soldado.&nbsp;<br />

If signed, this would be the third time this season that Spurs break their transfer record, after breaking it with Paulinho who was signed for &pound;17m, and Soldado who was signed for &pound;26m.&nbsp;<br />

Willian was close to joining Liverpool before Tottenham made an 11th hour bid.&nbsp;
