Ahead of AC Milan's Seria A opener against Hellas Verona, Flavio Tosi, Verona's mayor, claimed that Mario Balotelli's troublemaker attitude is what brings him abuse.
Tosi also claimed that there are lots of black players in the Seria A who don't get abuse from fans, niether home nor away, and that it is entirely Balotelli's fault for the way he acts and grabs attention.<br />
Flavio Tosi however appealed to Hellas Verona's fans not to abuse Milan's black players, saying this would damage the club's image. <br />
Kevin Prince Boateng, Sulley Muntari and Urby Emanuelson are among AC Milan's black players who have received abuse from fans during their time at the club.
