Paulo Di Canio failed to find a win this season in his second attempt as his side played out a draw against Southampton, with a goal apiece to show for it.

The goal from former Juventus man Emanuele Giaccharini in the 3rd minute of the game was cancelled out by Jose Fonte's header on the 88th minute.&nbsp;<br />

Jay Rodriguez had a goal dissallowed for offside, and Rickie Lambert missed a handful of chances as Southampton played out a frustrating first half and second half, before Fonte's goal secured a point for them.<br />

&pound;15m Italy striker Pablo Osvaldo came on in the second half and missed some chances too, but gave slight glimpses of his brilliance.&nbsp;
