Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has told reporters that he had several options and could have left the club this summer. However, the Argentinian forward instead decided to sign a new contract extension at the Etihad Stadium.
It is understood that Juventus and Real Madrid have been linked with a move for the former Atletico Madrid forward, but he instead decided to stay at Man City.
“One or two offers might have been around, but I was not interested in them," said Augero. "The thing was to stay where I was enjoying my football. I am very happy with Manchester City. I love Manchester. I have signed for another year. I'm happy to be here as I've been treated so well."
