Swansea City left-back Neil Taylor is expected to spend four to six weeks on the sidelines due to a thigh injury.

The talented Welsh International was subbed out during the Swans' 5-1 victory over Petrolul Ploiesti last week in the first leg of the Europa League play-offs.<br />

The Welsh club have revealed that Taylor would be unable to resume his duties with the Premier League side until October.<br />

A club statement read: "Swans defender Neil Taylor has been ruled out for four to six weeks due to a haematoma (severe bruising and swelling) on his thigh."<br /><br />The 24-year-old has made 76 appearances for the Swans since his switch from Conference Premier&nbsp;side Wrexham in 2010.
