The Welsh club have revealed that Taylor would be unable to resume his duties with the Premier League side until October.

A club statement read: "Swans defender Neil Taylor has been ruled out for four to six weeks due to a haematoma (severe bruising and swelling) on his thigh."

The 24-year-old has made 76 appearances for the Swans since his switch from Conference Premier side Wrexham in 2010.
